Change of Heart

Ok so the other day I had it set in my head that I was going to get rid of the desk I had when I was in high school.  I thought it didnt have enough space for my computer.  Well after a few days thinking about it and having it up on the yardsale website fort bragg has, I figured. Hmm.. Why not just refinish it and turn it into my vanity! I asked my wonderful husband to build me a vanity but this could do just as good as my vanity!

So far I had the drawers sanded and painted with the new knobs on them.   And I have the desk sanded down with its first coat of paint on it.

I had decided to paint it black after finding this chair from Ikea.

Anyway I thought the chair was super cute, and what better way to get some chair like this, to go with my black vanity? That says rocker chick at best! haha. The fact that I get express the way my style is with my vanity is pretty awesome.  Eventually I'll upgrade to one that my wonderful husband will build me, but for right now. this is my rocker chick awesome makeup vanity!

After its completed I'll post another blog with the pictures of everything and I'll make sure that my whole set up is complete! I'm so excited!
